Terms & Policies
These terms explain purchases, refunds, payment plans, program participation, digital access, and permitted use of Read by Kindergarten materials.

The short version

1. Agreement to these terms
By purchasing, enrolling in, accessing, or using a paid Read by Kindergarten offer, you agree to these Terms & Policies. “RBK,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Read by Kindergarten LLC.
The applicable sales page, checkout page, order confirmation, and program description provide the specific price, schedule, access period, and deliverables for your purchase. Those details form part of your agreement with RBK.
2. Fourteen-day refund policy and free-trial exception
RBK offers a 14-calendar-day refund period for paid RBK programs and digital products unless a more favorable written refund policy is displayed on the applicable offer page or the purchaser received a 14-day free trial of that program immediately before choosing to purchase continued access.
When RBK provides a 14-day free trial, no payment information is required, no charge is made during the trial, and the trial does not automatically convert into paid enrollment. Trial access ends when the stated trial period ends unless the participant affirmatively chooses to purchase.
If a participant receives that 14-day free trial and then chooses to purchase continued access to the same program, the purchase is final and nonrefundable, except where required by law or where a more favorable written refund policy is clearly displayed before payment.
Day one is the calendar date on which the purchase is completed. To request a refund, email info@readbykindergarten.com before 11:59 p.m. Central Time on the fourteenth calendar day.
Please include:
- Your full name
- The email address used for the purchase
- The name of the product or program
- A clear statement that you are requesting a refund
No explanation is required. When an eligible refund is approved, access to the refunded materials or program will end, and any remaining scheduled services associated with that purchase will be canceled.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing time depends on the bank or payment provider. Requests submitted after the 14-day period are not eligible for a refund except where required by law.
3. Prices, payment plans, and failed payments
Prices are shown before purchase. By completing checkout, you authorize RBK and its payment processor to charge the payment method you provide.
When a payment plan is offered, it divides the total purchase price into scheduled installments. It is not a month-to-month subscription unless the checkout page expressly identifies it as one.
After the 14-day refund period ends, remaining payment-plan installments continue to be due. A failed or overdue payment may result in paused access until the account is brought current.
Any separate recurring membership will display its billing and cancellation terms before purchase.
4. Digital delivery and access
Digital materials may be delivered through email, a member area, downloadable files, a learning platform, or another service identified at purchase.
The length and type of access are stated on the applicable offer or checkout page. Access should not be interpreted as lifetime access unless RBK expressly uses those words in writing.
You are responsible for supplying a compatible device, internet access, current contact information, and any software reasonably required to use the materials.
Free introductory experiences do not automatically convert into paid enrollment. No payment information is required, and participation ends when the stated free period ends unless the participant affirmatively purchases continued access. Any paid continuation is governed by Section 2 and the terms displayed before payment.
5. Live programs, coaching, and recordings
Live dates, call schedules, replay availability, coaching access, and included materials are described on the applicable program page or enrollment confirmation.
RBK may make reasonable scheduling, curriculum, platform, or facilitator changes when necessary. If RBK cancels a paid program entirely and does not provide a reasonably comparable alternative, participants will receive an appropriate refund for the undelivered portion.
Live sessions may be recorded for enrolled participants. RBK will not use a participant’s name, image, voice, child information, or testimonial for public marketing without separate permission.
6. Personal household license
Your purchase grants you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use RBK materials with children in your own household.
You may not:
- Share login credentials or member-area access
- Copy or distribute materials to other households
- Upload RBK materials to shared drives, websites, or social platforms
- Sell, sublicense, modify, or create competing products from RBK materials
- Use household materials in a classroom, center, tutoring business, or professional program without written permission or an appropriate license
All RBK content, trademarks, routines, recordings, graphics, downloads, and teaching materials remain the intellectual property of Read by Kindergarten LLC or their respective owners.
7. Educational purpose and parent responsibility
RBK provides educational information and parent-led learning activities. RBK services are not medical care, psychological care, speech-language therapy, diagnosis, special-education evaluation, or a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.
Parents and caregivers are responsible for choosing developmentally appropriate activities, supervising participating children, and seeking professional guidance when they have concerns about a child’s health, hearing, vision, speech, language, learning, or development.
8. Results and testimonials
RBK provides instruction, routines, and support, but every child and family is different. Results depend on factors including the child’s readiness, attendance, participation, practice, and individual needs.
RBK does not guarantee that a child will reach a particular reading level, read by a particular date, or achieve the same results described in a testimonial or example.
9. Appropriate conduct and account access
Participants must communicate respectfully and may not disrupt programs, infringe another person’s rights, misuse program technology, or share private information belonging to another family.
RBK may suspend access for serious or repeated violations. When reasonably possible, RBK will first provide notice and an opportunity to correct the problem.
10. Privacy
RBK’s collection and use of personal information are governed by the separate Privacy Policy .
The Privacy Policy explains information practices. These Terms & Policies govern purchases, refunds, access, participation, and use of RBK products and services.
11. Changes to these terms
RBK may update these terms as its offers, technology, or legal obligations change. The current version will appear on this page with its effective date.
Material changes will apply prospectively unless the law requires otherwise. The terms presented at the time of purchase continue to govern that purchase unless both parties agree to a change.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without limiting any consumer rights that cannot legally be waived in the purchaser’s place of residence.
